Remember when the Black Eyed Peas were tolerable?

Over-corny lyrics at times but really nice message overall and nice chorus.

Just too groovy to resist.

Stupid but fun.

All of these from their 2003 album. How the once-tolerable have fallen since then .

Re: Remember when the Black Eyed Peas were tolerable?

Yeah... back then I used to like them

The belief that man is an irresolute creature pulled this way and that by two forces of equal strength, alternately winning and losing the battle for his soul; the conviction that human life is nothing more than an uncertain struggle between heaven and hell; the faith in two opposed entities, Satan and Christ - all this was bound to engender those internal discords in which the mind, excited by the incessant fighting, stimulated as it were by the constant promises and threats, ends up by giving in and prostitutes itself to whichever of the two combatants has been more obstinate in its pursuit. Life isn't black and white, it's gold.

I admit I'm kinda partial to "Don't Lie", but that album also contains "My Humps" which was the beginning of the "E.N.D" for them .

Yeah, their first album w Fergie was actually pretty legit. Shut up, Hey Mama, and the other singles were whacky, but not annoying. Now they fucking suck.

Their "Monkey Business" was not a bad album at all, actually. Dum Diddly is my favourite.

"Where is the Love" was the best. But didn't they break up?

And the dish ran away with the spoon..
but Hawaii was the only state that would recognize the marriage as legal.

On New Year's Day, yes.

Oh, you mean the noisemaking musical group? No, I don't remember when they were tolerable. Sorry.
