As a Spaniard myself, fuck you JC.

The belief that man is an irresolute creature pulled this way and that by two forces of equal strength, alternately winning and losing the battle for his soul; the conviction that human life is nothing more than an uncertain struggle between heaven and hell; the faith in two opposed entities, Satan and Christ - all this was bound to engender those internal discords in which the mind, excited by the incessant fighting, stimulated as it were by the constant promises and threats, ends up by giving in and prostitutes itself to whichever of the two combatants has been more obstinate in its pursuit. Life isn't black and white, it's gold.

- In some ways I prefer traditional "royal families" to crappy governments and systems that dupe people. For one thing, in their heyday, they were a lot more interesting than most politicians.

- Hunting elephants for no reason is something that I think sucks - to put it very mildly. Yet many of us feast on the meat of cows that are raised and killed in the most brutal way without a second thought.

Outrageous & sick. What I find just as sickening though is that some people are criticizing him for spending money vainly in difficult times instead of criticizing him for killing animals for sport.

obviously i'm criticizing him for killing animals and in particular those animals. there are rangers in parks fighting against poachers every day to save certain types of animals from extinction, animals that were on the edge of extinction like elephants just 30 years ago, or that are still at risk and than arrives an idiot that pretend to kill animals and is also proud and take pictures with his kills. Then somebody should tell me what's the satisfaction that killing an elephant can give, i mean it's slow and big as an house, what that idiot should be proud of, not that he took the elephand down with his own hands!

Francisco Franco designated Juan Carlos 2B the king after he died (which he did in 1976). Maybe now the Spaniards should ovathrow this SOB and make Franco's hot great-granddaughter Cynthia Rossi the new monarch.

These days, royals are bored.
No more gladiators fight to the death
No public execution just for the pleasure of it
No more more fight to the death between gladiator and lion just for the enojoyment of the royals.
Royals are no longer involved in the day-to-day running of their country's affair.

So what to do all this time?
Got to Africa and kill defenseless animals and call it a game.
I am almost sure, these elephants were in a control area where they have become acustomed to be safe.

The environmentalist in Prince Charles does not appreciate this sort of hobbies, can we organize a duel between the 2?

Numerous countries still have a royal family, why single out "the Bloody Brits" again? Pick on the Dutch for a change! Goodness knows they have an history in your beloved Ireland too...

Maybe so, but that isn't JR's reason...the frequent use of the term "Bloody Brits" is a clue.
