Interesting. My initial reaction is some skepticism, not so much over the basic facts, but over the way they're being portrayed. For example, a lot of the financial aid Yugoslavia got from the US in the post-war era was from the Marshall Plan and similar amounts were offered to (but rejected by) other East Bloc countries.

On the other hand, I can certainly see Tito having some useful information and trading it with the US for additional funds and to spite the USSR. But how major a role those secrets played in the US space program is something we will probably want to hear more about from other sources.

Space program? With what technology? Suppose their only way would have been to use a giant mile-long rubber band to fling the capsule into space.

You are underrating Yogoslav abilities, that was a strong and powerful country that even Soviets were afraid. Tito being neutral in eastern Europe during cold war says it all, other countries, wanting or not had to fall under Soviet iron fist.

This.

Yugoslavia was quite the European power. I haven't really researched it but it seems quite a fascinating country, managing to be an neutral country that was still a socialist state.
