I love Downton Abbey. And I love Maggie Smith. This serie is pure gold.

I made a thread about this months ago. No one responded. I thought no one else watched this.

Anyway, I saw the entire first series. It was fantastic. I can't wait to see the second one. Maggie Smith one-liners have me literally rolling on the floor laughing.

Amazing series, some people bashed Season 2 but I liked it too.

Obsessed with Downtown Abbey, the first series was gold! I wasn't as pleased with the second series, but it was actually really interesting how they shifted the series, and I was still hooked on it as well. I think I watched both series within 4 days or so. Rob James-Collier makes me swoon hard.

Downton Abbey strongly reminds me of Robert Altman's Gosford Park. Then I realized both scripts are written by the same person.

Does this Christmas special follow the end of Series 2? If then I have to finish series 2 by then
