Angry Anyone evver been pickpocketed?

Heh, I just got pickpocketed by a bunch of gypsies today They're really good! One tripped me, and another helped pick me up and then grabbed my passport and wallet. I'm stuck in SLovakia for 4 weeks to get a new passport

Thankfully i've never been pickpocketed but i've seen it enough time!

In Rome, it was very bad, as I got on the bus and there was this boy who looked about 3 YEARS OLD doing it! and also there were these bracelet makers who made you a bracelet while the other person went tnrough your bag!

it happened to me too. also by a bunch of gipsies. I was in a bookstore, my hands on books and they took my wallet from my bag. it wasn't easy to open it. I lost money, but most important my papers. it was 5 years ago, on nobember 18th. in a few days I'll celebrate the 5 year ceremony lol

nope never had it done to me... but i think it might because i'm only 15 and most ppl don't think i've got any good stuff in my purse... but i don't even carry my purse my wallet is always in my zipped up jacket pocket.

i usually do the pickpocketing in my group of friends to piss them off... they usually don't catch me cuz they're probably used to it... or so they say i give the stuff back eventually after i'm holding whatever i took in front of their face.

It almost happened to me in Madrid this summer. I was at a flea market just looking at the wares of everyone when I was distracted and this guy put his hand in my back pocket. Needless to say, I almost broke his damn hand.

I would recommend that you put your wallet in your FRONT pass pockets.

Yes! And of all the cities I've visited (New York, Detroit, Buffalo, Atlanta, etc) where one might expect to be robbed, I have never had a problem. But I had my wallet lifted in Toronto, of all places!
