To me local just means bad. I'm guessing that's more or less right .

Mods, ban me if you ever catch me using the word "local" in that context. It's like "fetch" volume 2.

I really loved the thread "Which players remind you of animals", but it got deleted as well. I still remember how I laughed badly at a comparison between Myskina and a Praying Mantis.

Might need to add "Tea" to the list of memes. Half the time, it's actually in earnest suggesting that some new member is actually the banned member Tea; but lately, it seems to be a way of commenting on a post, without expecting anyone to take the "unmasking" seriously.

"I really have friends on the tour, and I'm really happy for it. ...I remember when I was young and someone told my father that I'm too nice for tennis. So I'm just glad that I can be nice off the court and fighting on the court." — Petra Kvitova, May 8, 2005

If it wasn't for Smitten's recent ingenuity, TF would be so local.

And we should add the rivalry between
Aga fans and Carotards to this thread.

"That is so disrespectful".

Also, when did "vulture" / "vulturing" go into common use? I remember it being used re: Chak's victories on summer US hardcourts, therefore as early as mid 2007.

It's pretty pathetic how every thread in the OP I opened is now closed
