Legend.

"If you practice for ten years, you may begin to please yourself, after 20 years you may become a performer and please the audience, after 30 years you may please even your guru, but you must practice for many more years before you finally become a true artist—then you may please even God." --Ali Akbar Khan, 1922-2009

RIP to an incredible poet and musician. He influenced so many Hip Hop artists and his words will live on forever. The revolution will not be televised.

Re: RIP Gil Scott-Heron

I only recently discovered him last year when Kanye sampled a work of his on the last song of his album. The bit Kanye sampled was incredible. It was deep! I don't know if this is the full piece but here is the song.

Who Will Survive in America

Rena's Army, Ana and Vika!!!

RIP Gil. And while your name wasn't widely famous, the phrase: "The revolution will not be televised" certainly was.
