Re: Ready to drive a car by your brain ?

What happens if someone accidentally thinks about smashing their car against the guard rail on the highway?

I think there would be enough time to rethink it when the guard rail seems to get closer and closer.

More interesting,

You are about five metres away from hitting a guard rail at 150 km/h. If you tell the car to fly, will it?

- Caroline Wozniacki has never beaten a reigning world #1.
- Caroline Wozniacki has never beaten a top 5 player at a major.
- Caroline Wozniacki has not beaten a top 3 player en route to any of her 23 titles.
- Caroline Wozniacki has beaten two top 5 players en route to her 23 titles (#4 Zvonareva and #5 Schiavone)

-Her fans think she had very bad luck with her Grand Slam and Regular Tour draws.

That is not a problem. Comparing to brain reading? Piece of cake. Some of control constraints can be overridden , some simply should not be. If a board computer can read the brain signals.. surely, with radars and everything, it can block any collision-causing decisions.

In fact.. If it was not for constraints of legacy roads .. the cars should not need a driver. The road map is in your GPS device. The traffic lights can be transmitted as a radio signal. Other cars/pedestrians can be identified with radar/doppler devices. What else do you need? Not much, other than your absolutely perfect software..

Can you still drive manually when you're high ?

I actually hate, driving brain-control or hand-control, It'd be great to have a car drive by itself, so I can have a sweet dream while getting to my destination

I don't think there's anything sexy about seeing a car, at least for me
