Talking My attempts at tennis player drawings.

Basically I'm studying Graphic Design. One of my classes is just pure drawing. We have to draw six different pieces for our final assessment. I thought I may as well do a series on my favourite tennis players...so, I'm not a gifted drawer, I need a lot of practice. This certainly isn't that good, but it's a start.

Did you draw with your hand?

Re: My first attempt at Fernando Verdasco drawing (lol).

^ Well a drawing is not supposed to be a photocopy anyway so you shouldn't feel bad for it not looking exactly like him. It's about technique first & then interpretation.

I like the tone in his neck and face but it's obvious you put less effort in the t-shirt. Did you do that towards the end?

Well, other than it doesn't really look like him, at all, I think the drawing is ok. Looks like some like of caricature to me tho. But I am no expert and... the lips seem too thin lol. I thought for a second you'd draw the picture of him naked.

Verdasco, Ivanovic for sure.

Then probably Blake, Soderling, Berdych, then the sixth will be a toss-up between Djokovic, Gulbis and Simon.
