Swearing attitudes

What are your swearing attitudes? Do you curse often and what are your favourite swear words, maybe in other languages than English?

I'm curious to know!

Re: Swearing attitudes

I only curse in private (or on the internet ). Doing so in public spaces is so uncouth

Re: Swearing attitudes

I often swear "Putain !" like Cornet especially when I am playing videogames, got wrong conversation or text (in embarrassing moments esp lol), got pain somewhere in my body... but that's it.

Give back 2006 US Open to Justine

I only curse in English... cursing in Russian just seems so much more vulgar

Re: Swearing attitudes

Its weird, I used to never swear in Quebecois (and swearing is part of our culture ). But then I started living my everyday life in english, and swearing in English wasn't as dramatic for me, as it didn't have the same background. Since then, I swear often, and in both languages

Re: Swearing attitudes

being italian i of course have to swear a lot
we have so many ways to curse/swear...i mostly do that when driving, or when i do something stupid or wrong, but not in a funny way...my faves are: "Dio stragatto" "Porca puttana vacca"

when i ski the one that always come to my mind when i do a terrible run is: "Scheisse!" i dunno why i swear in german

may your choices reflect your hopes not your fears.
