Superbowl 45:Most watched tv event in HISTORY!!!!!

Wow. Fox Sports' broadcast of Super Bowl XLV averaged 111 million viewers and is the most-watched television program in U.S. history.

USA TODAY's Gary Levin reports: The game beat the previous record of 106.5 million, set during last year's Super Bowl, which shattered the 27-year record held by the series finale of M*A*S*H (106 million), which held the viewership record from 1983 to 2010.

This marks the sixth straight year that Super Bowl viewership has increased, from 86.1 million in 2005 to 111.0 million, a gain of nearly 25 million viewers.

Re: Superbowl 45:Most watched tv event in HISTORY!!!!!

oh I thought I posted this in non-tennis, sry! You could probably add up every U.S Open since the 70's and still not reach this number. It's amazing to me how the NFL destroys everything in ratings, attendance, value etc.. No surprise the NFL is the richest sports league in the world really, I mean 4 million dollar fee for a 30 second commercial Lol!

I was expecting a ghetto translation of the article.

He looked deep into his eyes and said, "You're perfect."

"No, I'm not. But with you, I don't even care."

111 million viewers and without a sighting of Beyonce? My word.

Maybe Xtina had it right after all, there's no such thing as bad publicity.

Didn't watch but heard that Fergie and B.E.P. sucked. No surprise. As for Cristina getting the words wrong on the Star-Spangled Banner, well, she isn't the first. Also, people criticized Whitney Houston for prerecording it and lipsyncing, but would they rather people get the words wrong? I didn't hear her sing, but I can feel some sympathy for her for switching up that line in the song.

Many, many people probably didn't even notice that Xtina fucked it up.

If that were true, there would have been no need for this.....

Raise of hands, who else was mainly watching for the commercials this year?

And here you are, a black unicorn.

My thoughts exactly. Who cares for NFL anyway

Please change wrong Georgian and Montenegrin flags with correct ones: Georgia and Montenegro.
