What Does 300 Calories Really Look Like?

Wonder what 300 calories looks like? 300 calories look drastically different when you're eating in instead of dining out. Choosing healthier, more nutritious foods--at home and away--means you can eat much more food and still lose weight. Check out these 18 meal comparisons to see for yourself, share forward this story to your friends!

Breakfast: 300-Calorie Meals & Portions
Here are three morning meals that each weigh in at 300 calories. Healthy and quick homemade meals (left column) pack whole grains, fresh fruit, and protein--a filling combination that will keep you fuller longer. You could only eat a fraction of the comparable restaurant meals (right column) for the same number of calories. Get more healthy breakfast ideas here.

I like alot of the healthier meals, but sugar/salt content are often high in low-fat meals. Also, fruit is good, but most of us would rather eat the sh*t they serve at restaraunts, instead. I pride myself on my workout, but sometimes, I'd rather eat the basic sh*t they would serve at Starbucks than I would healthy fruit anyday.

eating out is really horrible for you, especially at fast food. Everything is oil drenched and high in sodium and sugar.

I never eat out unless it's for a special occasion at some fancy restaurant, but then again, I'm a fabulous cook

Over the last year I have messed with a calorie restriction diet in order to increase my potential lifespan, so I have become very conscious about my caloric intake and what is available at restaurants.

Blowing out someone else's candle does not make yours shine brighter.

Yeah, but isn't it just so much more fun to eat out?

Why is everything frozen
300-400 Calories = approx 1320-1760 Kjs

Oh and what is "Light Bread"?

When i was searching for low calorie meals, egg whites and chow mein noodles were staples
