Re: Woody Woodpecker or Roadrunner

While I watched the Roadrunner ad nauseum as a kid, I thought the less-saturated Woody was funnier.

Woody of course. He's funny. I disliked Roadrunner with a passion mainly because of poor Coyote.

I always wanted Cayote to win! Just like how I always wanted Tom to beat the shit out of Jerry.

Woody was great. I feel sorry for kids growing up in this country now (UK) because children's TV is only on for about one hour per day on terrestrial (and even then it's mostly for toddlers). When I was younger these kinds of shows had a lot more airtime.

Re: Woody Woodpecker or Roadrunner

Woody's laugh got on my LAST nerve.

I loved how Wile E. Coyote never gave up chasing the Road Runner despite failure after failure after failure. I also loved how he disproved every known law of physics.

"He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord." -- Proverbs 18:22

"Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard." -- Herb Brooks

"A man who views the world the same at 50 as he did at 20 has wasted 30 years of his life." -- Muhammad Ali

Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote were my favorite duo though.

And here you are, a black unicorn.
Mythical and mystical since the day that you were born.
