I love this age. My favourites are Vivien Leigh, Joan Fontaine, Olivia de Havilland, Dorothy Dandridge, Bette Davis and Joan Crawford (lol). Among the men, Clark Gable, Laurence Olivier, Montgomery Clift, Marlon Brando and Henry Fonda.

I love the 30s the most. It gets a little worse every decade until what we have now.

John Barrymore and Greta Garbo in Grand Hotel. The best thing about this film I thought was the very young Joan Crawford. Also loved Garbo as the prima ballerina.
