Re: Dexter

Those first 2 minutes are hilarious

I still have no idea how they're going to play this out for 2 more seasons.

I have That was only 2 minutes and in the shock of the moment Debra blocked her memory that she was in that same situation. SheŽll soon realize, that wait a minute... brother? And then we start to play with her denial of no, not Dexter... or something like that, that lasts say three episodes, until she understands whole picture. What then? Then what...

Re: Dexter

Forget season thread!

What to expect from Season 7?

1) How Debra reacts!
If that is not done satisfyingly, then whole show is a toast. Every single second of it!

1a) She knew it all the time - No good. Nothing has suggested it before.
1b) She had a hunch, but kept it inside of her. Plausible.
1c) She too has a secret...

As a writer I go with.... 1c

Re: Dexter

Wise man once said - In the end noboby remembers what was in the middle. If this turns out to be the case with Dexter, I salute them. Forget the middle. Think what happened in Seasons 1 & 2! Oh boy, If IŽm right then this series will be studied for next 50 years! Spoiled last season, not going to do it this time! Becauce I canŽt! Even without seeing season opener. I just feel it...

Me too!

Other than Deb fianally finding out last season was the worst IMO. I hated the religious nut aspect of it; the implausible set up, and most disturbing of all, Deb having romantic "feelings" for Dex.

Lets hope it gets back on track to a level at least as good as the seasons with Lumen and Trinity.

The Elliott character intrigues me. What does he know (or think he knows) about Dex and the Dark Passenger?

Re: Dexter

I will watch it through the end, but the show has jumped the shark for me. That scene where he's putting the fingerprints all over the church with Edward James Olmos' hand really fast before the police arrived, I don't know, it just seemed funny and like we've seen him evade the police before and the show is just not original any more. How many more times can he trick the police on the fly? And the Deb thing is odd, maybe it will make sense next season.

Re: Dexter

This first episode had a better cliffhanger than the season finale.

Agreed, in fact I think it was the best episode of Dexter since the season 4 finale.

I actually really, really hope he kills her. We'd finally be rid of her.
