World Cup Athletics.

I can't remember all the results, but they can be found at www.iaaf.com
I was disappointed that Kim Gevaert didn't do better, but I can only assume that she's knackered. She's not run at all well since winning 2 silver medals in the Europeans.
I was inpressed yet again by my favourite athlete, Yelena Zadorozhnaya. She ran in the 3000m against Szabo and Adere, and only narrowly lost out to those two, by a few thousandths of a second, with Adere just dipping past Szabo on the line.
What with Gevaert and Feofanova not being at their best, the only reason I had to be happy was Yelena's fine run.
A little extract from www.iaaf.com

'Berhane Adere gave us one of the best, and it was all the more exciting because the final straight featured three rivals - Adere, Yelena Zadorozhnaya and Gaby Szabo - who have illuminated this end of season in the middle distances. The race was uneventful until the final lap, when Spaniard Beatriz Santiago shot into the lead, and woke the crowd from its post-downpour torpor. But she was quickly relayed by Zadorozhnaya in the backstraight. Until Szabo shot past. The Russian stayed abreast with Szabo with Adere falling back. But when Szabo finally edged clear of Zadorozhnaya, Adere came with such a rush that she made up three metres in the last ten, and swept past Szabo as the Romanian made the mistake of celebrating too soon.'

www.iaaf.com doesn't work. On going on to it, a windows box appears saying it needs a password and a username

To TBE: Thanks for that It works much better, still I can't understand why it would want my password and username, i never no the site was privatised, i looked at internet setting etc but nothing was relevant to it ???

Oh well thanks for that again

Oops, sorry Allegra, I meant www.iaaf.org not www.iaaf.com

The African men win for the fourth time in a row, and the Russian women have won also
Yeah EGGY, the Tunisian pole vaulter was very delicious.
