If it's a question:

Yes, it is a saying. I don't know if it has an equivalent in English. It is used when someone does the same as her father/mother. If he's a tennis player as his father, you can use it. If he likes pizza as his father, you can also use it...

Yes, you're right, it's a saying. In English it could be: Like father like son (that's what appears ina asictionary )

Well thanks for the offer, actually it has to be finished next Saturday it's far from being done but i can send you some sentences (paragraphs, chapters *cough* ) by pm and all you have to do is correct them before Saturday. Deal?
