Top Chef: Las Vegas , Week 1: Sin City Vice

Anyone else watching?

I think this season, at least on the guy front, is the most attractive cast so far.

I think I'm going to love Mattin, but perhaps that's the French in me.

Anyone see the 1st episode?

Anyone beats the dead eyed hot mess of Katie Lee Joel from the first season.

I'm just glad that gauged ear girl left, I can't stand to look at ears like that it freaks me out big time.

Yep, enjoyed the first show. Should be a good season.

Never chase love, affection or attention. If it isn't given to you freely by another person, then it isn't worth having.

I watched the first episode.

I'm not good with the names yet though there were definitely some dishes that looked so good.

Girl with the chile relleno deserved to go though.

When she said she was cooking with seitan, I almost threw up in my mouth. I go to school in a pretty hippy, dippy area and there's a lot of vegans, and everytime I've tried the stuff I wanted to shoot myself.

My good friend used to make me go to this Vegan restaurant and it was all seitan and tamari, and it was all not very good.

Give me some pork, thanks!

What was the cocky guy, Mike? I hate him and was so mad he almost won. I hope he has an early and surprising exit. I hate the cocky contestants. Not sure who I like yet.

I knew who was going home right from the beginning. The editing was so obvious when they showed those girls trying to convince whatshername to unpack her bags. Why else would they show something like that?

Re: Top Chef: Las Vegas , Week 1: Sin City Vice

Didn't even know a new season was starting up. Luckily my DVR picked it up.

What's the deal with chefs and tattoos? (and nose rings?)

My early pick is Jennifer Carroll, chef de cuisine for Eric Ripert's restaurant in Philadelphia.

I thought that Indian chick was a guy. The foreign sounding name didn't help.

Glad tattoo girl is gone. She was covered in tattoos up to her throat, hard to look at.

That guy is such an asshole. Go away! Kevin is annoying, too.

The Frenchie (Mattin) and the brothers (Michael and Bryan) are so friggin' gorgeous.

The quality of chef seems to be higher this season than ever. I was devastated that Mattin was booted, but at least I still have the brothers. I like Jen, too, she's deliciously bitchy.

They're so bitter about Robin. The cancer comments by Eli were crossing the line a bit.

The Jersey bastard is still there.
