What would you do if you won BIG in the Lottery

Here in Australia we have a record $50 million lotto going off next week, and in America recently a guy won $300 million odd on powerball.

What would you do if you won? how would you spend the money? would you still work? would you change?

I would immediately quit my job, nice mansion right on the beach, new beemer and ferrari... plus help out some charities and some family, and lots of travel around the world.... seeing all the Grand Slams of course!

No major changes; I'd keep my job and do the same fun stuff I do now...

...just the quality would go up a notch; first class instead of "travelocity", etc...

Maintain the same life, invest the money. But allow myself annual holidays.

And if your life were gold, how long do you think you'd stay living?

Buy myself into tournament Brie Whitehead style until I win a match (somehow)

Then travel the world, buy an island and live there.

I'd retire as soon as I could meet my obligations to my clients, then I would ask my spouse to leave his job so we could move to another city (or country). I would travel a lot, and I would use my money to support causes about which I care deeply.

Re: What would you do if you won BIG in the Lottery

I would probably buy a nice condo in Manhattan, then give some money to relatives. I would also travel the world and see places I wanted to, but never have. I would save a lot of my money to last me a long time and I would probably donate some towards charity or research sometime down the road.

I'd take 10% of it and party like it's 1999 for the first year, and then bank the rest and live well within my means, travel, and work out at the gym.

buy myself a beautiful house, take more time off (but I wouldn't quit work entirely) and spend a lot of money traveling.

Everything you do continues long after you've gone
