Taking a moment to think of those lost, their families and friends, and the
rescue teams that bravely did all they could.

Re: September 11, 2001

Thank you samsung. I was starting to think that some have forgotten and I've talked to some people today and sadly they have.
I was in NYC that day. I saw people with the dust of death and the twin towers on them.
I saw New Yorkers scared out of their wits, something that you never ever see with New Yorkers.
I didn't know what to do, but I refused to let whoever did this change my habits that day.
That was what they would have wanted.

The thing is only NYC could have recovered from something like this.
The city that never sleeps, never did. They righted the wrong.
And NY would have fully recovered if there was something at the spot of the WTC.
Everytime I take the Path, I see nothing.
They are taking too long. That has to change. It must change.

Something needs to change.

16,000 post in 6,5 years... quite scary... You don't av to post, this world won't stop to exist because of that...

No reason for me to make a thread for July 25th and November 18th. I don't want to make a propaganda out of that...

Re: September 11, 2001

I was in the car stuck in traffic on the way home from school when the first plane hit. We couldn't believe what was happening it just sounded so unreal.

There was a program on yesterday about the people in the hotel next to the towers that also got destroyed.

Samsung, hopefully you won't use this thread as a reason to continue the war.

Oh man. That was really hard to watch. So many emotions from that day came rushing back.

Re: September 11, 2001

I wil never forget the day it all happened - I went back from school and my mother was watching TV, where they broadcasted this nightmare live. I couldn't believe this is our new reality, it was more like a movie (Independence Day or something). And it looked surreal how two large buildings can be dostroyed so easily. I was only 11 at that moment and I didn't understand that I was a witness of the turning point in history of humankind. I was just awfully scared and didn't want to believe.

I want to say to all the Americans out there, that here in Russia there are people, who pray together with your for the souls of all the victims and the heroes of the day. We'll never forget and we'll be mourning the 9/11 every year in future.

WTA GERMANS STAN!

Andrea Petkovic --- Angelique Kerber --- Annika Beck --- Carina Witthöft
