The way the film it looks different. It was much more gritty and grainy. Now it is so slick and sharp.

I am not conceited, I am just convinced

Don't think I've seen this thread before. Anyway, love this show. Just about to watch the season premiere.

Agree, the show has lost some of its Southern charm, its now way too supernaturally it has no character anymore.

But I also agree the last episode wasn't awful. The shifter story-line needs to be dropped, I've zero interest in it. Andy and those kids don't bother me as much as they give the show a kind of break from non-stop intensity. Warlow was kind of a caricature the minute the car pulled up, like a pantomime villain.

The fairy harem and Tara becoming a vampire were the two worst plots in this show, don't really think it can recover. Is the theme this season going to be about power corrupting, Alcide, Bill etc.

Love how HBO gives the present day werewolf chicks a bush but on Game of Thrones the women seem to wax. Astonishing.

Don't know if intended, but Bill (or the actor) has aged really badly.

Jason is so fucking stupid. The minute the car came I already knew that was Warlow or whatever.
It's not Warlow.

Just sayin'.

Yeah, I didn't get that impression either. I thought it was a Fairy grandparent of Jason's.

So did anyone watch E3? Or has the show fallen so far that you can't even be bothered to watch and complain about it being a tragic mess?

Kindda

No it was not bad, but just strange... A straight weird fairy first, then Bill who is just a totally new character. I mean the story was about a weak and wicked half-fairy in love with a tortured vampire. It just lost his essence and now it's like there is no more cohesion between the characters and it got far more complicated to follow every storylines

Re: TrueBlood, show on HBO ...

I agree. I know that some suspense is needed to hold the audience's attention but frankly, it's just beginning to make me anxious instead. The "Where's Warlow?" game where we can't tell if the new halfling fairy (Ben?) is actually Warlow or if he's just ANOTHER character added to the ever expanding cast.

Re: TrueBlood, show on HBO ...

That episode............

Bill's acting has become progressively more atrocious (actually, everyone on this show...the acting is TERRIBLE now) and there isn't one, single fucking likeable character on this show anymore. And I'm starting to think everyone in the town has become mentally retarded ever since that huge orgy back in like Season 2 or 3. Like deductive reasoning and common sense has gone out the window. I CAN'T.

That said, yeah, I'll probably download this next week.
