Indiana & North Carolina - Never Ending Democratic Primaries

Sadly, even if Obama wins both, or Hillary wins one, this thing will go on and on.

Hillary Clinton has no legitimate reason to drop out.

I think Obama will win both states today, comfortably.

She'll still be fairly close, within 150 or so delegates.

In a process where not one single delegate - regular or super - is
officially obligated by any rule or law to vote one way or the other.
They should vote for Obama or Hillary based on a state result or proportion
result...but, they really do not have to.

She's counting on that.
That and more Wright, Rezko, Ayers sort of news to keep coming up until August.

August, can you believe it....

Going out on a limb....John McCain, the forgotten guy, will win too.

He's just holding fundraisers.

Strangely, the RNC is raising money better than he is.
That's not good. He should be raising lots more than he is.

Hint - John, criticize Democrats as much as you do Republicans.
That Huffington 'leak' that you said you didn't vote for Bush in 2000
(after that nasty battle between you two) - probably could help you
with the Bush haters. It's so typical McCain.

I don't think Obama will take Indiana even though it is certainly possible. I think it will go as expected, she wins Indiana and he wins N.C. I think she will win by 5-6 and he will win by 7-10

Indiana is do or die.

If Hillary loses it, no reason to continue.
But.
She's going to win it.

Obama will win North Carolina.

On to West Virginia and Kentucky!

I think we can make this the "livescoring"-esque thread for tonight, too.

Polls close at 7pm and 730pm EST. Love that it's so early!

I don't see why Indiana is "do or die." NC has more delegates.

When 40% of the voters are a certain favorable kind, that's why. It's England vs. the American Colonies ... Oh wait, hmmmmmm, I think the underdog won that one.

What are you talking about? Speak plainly. Are you talking about Black voters? Are you talking about women? Christians?

It wouldn't be racist if you would apply this idea to Clinton equally. She's going to win Indiana because 90% of the voters are of a favorable kind, you know, those people.

It's far too late for that, ITZ....it's far too late for that.

There's not a real need to explain to you that Blacks have always gone with the frontrunner and the best candidate in the Democratic race....even when Blacks were candidates. Jesse Jackson, Douglas Wilder, and Al Sharpton all ran for president but none of them got the majority of the Black vote. Conversely, Blacks also voted for Al Gore, Bill Clinton, and John Kerry overwhelmingly. If you want the best Democratic candidate, follow the trend of the Black voter, regardless of race.

Thus, your focus on the "Black vote" in NC is simply an excuse for you to rationalize the support for a candidate who's campaign is going to be far less relevant in the morning than it is today.

Huh? 90% of Indiana is old and latino and women? Whites aren't allowed to vote for white candidates without being called racists.

Re: Indiana & North Carolina - Never Ending Democratic Primaries

exit polls are projecting 55-45 for obama in NC
how can they project so early when the voting is not even over

If you're not paying for something, then you're the product.
