Thumbs up Nicole Kidman To Play Rock N Roll Legend Dusty Springfield

Australian actress Nicole Kidman is reportedly to play Dusty Springfield in a new biopic of the singer's life. The 40-year-old star is to team up again with Michael Cunningham - who scripted her Oscar-winning performance in 2002's The Hours. The movie will chronicle Springfield's rise to fame in the 1960s and touch on her battles with alcohol, drugs and mental health problems before her death from breast cancer in 1999. Script-writer Cunningham says, "It will be the real Dusty. A great artist who no one knew what to do with. But she is going into history with The Beatles and the Rolling Stones."

My mothers most hated actress will play her favourite singer of all time

Thank you for everything Mercedes, now please be nice to Socrates for me, perhaps fetch him a bird or two. We love you, always.

i don't understand why she keeps getting these plum parts. her movies do not make money. i wonder if she's gonna lip sync. i'm sure there are others who'd do a great job. i'm kinda tired of nicole.

Allot of Nicoles films have been artistic ( sans Bewitched ) low budget indies. Most of her larger scale films have made money when you factor in dvd sales and worldwide box office receipts. Plus, wins AWARDS, sells mags, newspapers, cologne, clothing and sells other merchandise with her likeness.

Point Blank: ALL AROUND MEGA POPULAR STAR that makes $$$$$ and or/ awards for almost anything she's involved in
