Polls show Obama winning 80%+ Hispanic vote in Kentucky and North Carolina

North Carolina Hispanics
Obama: 81%
Clinton: 17%

Kentucky Hispanics
Obama: 86%
Clinton: 14%

How the mightly have fallen! There was a time when Hispanics were a Clinton stronghold, they propelled her to victory in states like Texas and California voting for her by more then 2 to 1. Now they are turning their back on her en masse. She is losing her most loyal supporters. In Kentucky Obama is getting a higher % of the hispanic vote then the black vote. She needs to drop out and save herself from the embarrassment.

I'm guessing among certain people these statistics will have "no relevance".

Before you speak to me about your religion, first show it to me in how you treat other people; before you tell me how much you love your God, show me in how much you love all His children; before you preach to me of your passion for your faith, teach me about it through your compassion for your neighbors. In the end, I'm not as interested in what you have to tell or sell as in how you choose to live and give.

Re: Polls show Obama winning 80%+ Hispanic vote in Kentucky and North Carolina

I don't know about NC, but I live right by KY, and I think there are very, very, did I say very?, few Hispanics in KY.

I just looked it up. 2% in KY.

However, in NC it is at least 7%. Hispanics favoring Obama will have some significance in the NC outcome. 80% of 7% is 5.6% for Obama, vs. 1.4% for Clinton. So, the Hispanic factor will account for about 4% of Obama's margin.

===========
Don't forget the Black population is voting Obama at rates close to 90%. This is also more significant in NC.

Kentucky - percent Hispanic = 2%.
Kentucky - percent Black = 7%
North Carolina - percent Hispanc = 7%
North Carolina - percent Black = 20%
