Reading is FUNdamental
What is everyone reading now? Book suggestions?
Currently I am reading the Tales of the City series by Armistead Maupin. I've just finished reading the first two, and I'm taking a break to read Kosteva's The Historian -- so far so good.
I recently read Michael Chabon's Mysteries of Pittsburgh. I know a lot of people enjoy his later and more famous works The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay (which I've been meaning to read) and Wonder Boys, but Mysteries is really an enjoyable read. It's been compared to Salinger's Catcher and Rye -- a book I didn't really like (I read it in the 7th grade and never again since. I should give it another shot) -- because of its coming of age motiff.
Who else likes to read and talk about what they've read?
