(Renamed) 2007 World Series Thread

Ovacame a 3 games to 1 deficit vs. the Cleveland Indians to return to the World Series, as when they came back from an 0-3 deficit vs. the Yankees in 2004.

(griffin among 5,000 Bostonians arrested for public drunkenness afterwards).

Re: Congragulations to the Boston Red Sox

Go Red Sox!

Boston completed its dramatic comeback from 3-1 down in this series, becoming the first team in Major League history to pull off that feat three times. Just like the Red Sox of 1986 and 2004, the '07 team is going to the World Series, where they will face the sizzling Colorado Rockies, beginning Wednesday night at Fenway Park. In all, 66 teams have faced a 3-1 deficit in the postseason and the Red Sox became just the 11th to crawl out of it.

It's great being a Boston fan these days.

Before you speak to me about your religion, first show it to me in how you treat other people; before you tell me how much you love your God, show me in how much you love all His children; before you preach to me of your passion for your faith, teach me about it through your compassion for your neighbors. In the end, I'm not as interested in what you have to tell or sell as in how you choose to live and give.

They're going to need it against the Rockies.

Bosox fans are wusses. Winning a couple World Series a century.

Cubs fans would kill to win more than one World Series a century.

Re: Congragulations to the Boston Red Sox

Oh, and I'm pissed at Boston and its environs because the stupid Revolution knocked off FC Dallas to win the U.S. Open Cup earlier this month.

I'm sure they'll lose in MLS Cup again though.

Yes, I know I'm the only American on this board who cares more about soccer than baseball.

We all know what happened to that team and who won that WS.

I hope the Rockies win it all because I believe George Mitchell, the man wh heads the steriod investigation and is an employee of the Red Sox, leaked that HGH information about the Indians player right before Game 7.

I'm pulling for the Rockies. I'm actually worried for them that they'll get some serious stage fright and Bosox will steamroll them.

I love you, Dean. I love you, Kiera.

I'm going for the Rockies too, but I wouldn't be upset if Boston won.
Would love to see a 7 game series.
