Arrow Civics Literacy Test

Hi guys,

I found this quiz on Civics Literacy. It's most suited to Americans since it has quite a few questions on American history and institutions. But still a lot of the questions are interesting. There are 60 questions.

Here's the quiz: http://www.americancivicliteracy.org...rces/quiz.aspx

Good Luck!

I got 85%. I probably should have done better but I'm tired so...

Re: Civics Literacy Test

I got bored after 10 questions and didn't finish. I would have undoubtedly done absolutely awful had I continued, as my American history is fairly patchy these days.

Re: Civics Literacy Test

eh...

You answered 49 out of 60 correctly — 81.67 %
Average score for this quiz during September: 75.1%
Average score since September 18, 2007: 75.1%

You can take the quiz as often as you like, however, your score will only count once toward the monthly average

Re: Civics Literacy Test

I got 65% (39/60). I don't know if that's good or not for someone who's never been to America or had any American history/politics education. I found some of the questions tough especially the ones on the founding fathers and specific American events.

But I think it's interesting because there are some relevant questions for non-Americans too. I am surprised by the average scores from American colleges though.

I missed mostly the economics questions. I am not surprised that the average score is low for Americans because the questions were the sort of thing you learn in high school then forget after the test.
