Smile Roland Garros Travel Advice.

A few friends and I are planning a trip down to Paris in 2008 to catch the first couple of days of Roland Garros.

Would appreciate it if anyone who's attended the event before would kindly give me some tips and advice on obtaining tickets, lodging etc. Thanks!!!!!!

Re: Roland Garros Travel Advice.

For the first few days you will be able to get ground passes online without any difficulties.

I stayed in a Formula 1 Hotel (basically it's a hostel under the banner of a hotel; nothing fancy, not including breakfast etc., but really cheap) but it was in the outskirts of Paris, and quite far from the venue. But if you want a cheap stay, that place was a good option, esp. since public transport in Paris is inexpensive.
