Fashion Gurus! Sally needs your help!

Ole Sally's brother is having a birthday soon and she needs to buy him a tie, but not sure which one looks best. Here are the options:

the light blue one by vineyard vines

this little diddy from psycho bunny at Neiman Marcus

or this one from Barney's NY

or maybe this one
http://www.saksfifthavenue.com/main/...6414&ev19=5:10

I don't know I'm so confused What's fashionable now? I would like to buy a nice tie so $100-$200 is the price range I am looking at.

Re: Fashion Gurus! Sally needs your help!

i definitely like the last one in navy. i hate ties with little animals or shit like that on them so thats my preference. all of my ties are more solid than these though, a lil funky looking, yet in style. so def more similar to the saks one.

I love looking at ties

Out of the ones you showed the last one is the one I prefer.

^^ if he wants a tie and you have that budget, you might as well get him a nice good quality one indeed

Well Sally, I'm partial to blue. And I think no color seems to appear more manly than blue or black, so I would say in the first photo from vineyard vines the light blue, or the blue one from Barney's NY you have listed. I would say out of them all, I prefer the one from Barney's. I don't know I just think blue is for a man, I mean it's how boys are brought up to be dressed in blue at birth. And I've never been the type of woman that thinks a man looks handsome in pink. I just have one question for you, what color are your brothers eyes? And are they a bright color of eyes?

I'm BACK & SINGLE. So lock up all the hotties!

Then on that I would say the yellow or orange colored ones. But someone with brown eyes, usually they can look good in any color they wear because it blends well. I'm still partial to the Barney's one

Spending that lotto money are you?

I like the bunny one best with the Barney's a close second.

Those seem awfully...mature. Why not a diagonal striped tie? Stefano Ricci has some nice ones at Neiman Marcus.
