Linkin Park: Minutes to Midnight - Anyone bought / heard the album already?

I've just bought the CD and gone through the songs... while it's good, somehow this one seemed "softer" than their previous albums. Have they changed their style???

I kinda like "Leave Out All The Rest" and "Bleed It Out"...

Anyone has other opinions about this album

You won't be disappointed! This was an excellent album & all the songs are 'listenable' - I feel like I don't have to skip any.

Leave Out All The Rest is one of my favourites, as well as Shadow of The Day - those two songs are pretty slow & meaningful ones. The one song that I love on that album is Given Up: it sort of copies the formula for One Step Closer & is really hard, fast & angry.

I just got it today for my birthday, and im pretty satisfied with it. IMO its much better than Meteora and not quite as good as Hybrid Theory. I dont like all the slow ballads on the cd - they're all well done, great songs - but i love Linkin Park for songs like Forgotten, Paper Cut, Paranoid etc. My favorite songs right now are Given Up, LOATR, Bleed It Out, Shadow of the Day and What Ive Done. Basically, the beginning/middle is my favorite, but im sure the rest will grow on me.

I bought it too! And think it's really a great album! I like the song "Leave out all the rest" too. One of the best on this Album! No more srorrow is great too.
I like the new style of them and the old stuff is still one of the best.

I'd buy it only if it was called Two Minutes to Midnight....

For your dolly Polly sleep has flown
Don't dare let her tremble alone
For the witcher, heartless, cold
Paid in coin of gold
He comes he'll go leave naught behind
But heartache and woe
Deep, deep woe
