Dems want Fairness Doctrine back...too many critics of their actions!

The so called Fairness Doctrine is being given a huge push by the Democrats in
Congress again.

My word, they not only control Hollywood, the networks, most cable networks,
pop music, and the international media...the Liberal Left now wants to shut down
the few and far between voices that actually critique them. Can't have that.
Never mind the left continues to control the PBS govt. paid airwaves as well.

The Fairness Doctrine will do little but create a mandatory forum for a voice
opposite of a Rush or Sean or a Laura to be legally forced upon us.

When the Left controlled the entire media - minus 1 cable network and a few
AM radio stations, does anyone remember how hard they did not work to create
a 'fair and balanced' conservative response?

Yeah, about 3 a.m. on Saturday night, or about 5 a.m. on Sunday morning.....

Will we see Congress enforce the Fairness Doctrine on network tv? movies?
PBS? No.

This is Stalin tactics. Mandate what we get to hear and see...not just going
after profanity or anything like that, we're going after what type of thought
you can have...what way it can lean.

I highly doubt PBS will go out of the way to hire a full time Bill Moyers of
the Right, or that MSNBC will hire a full time Keith Olberman/Chris Matthews
tandem team for the conservatives. Nah......

Re: Dems want Fairness Doctrine back...too many critics of their actions!

When one of the three major networks hires a former Republican Chief of Staff or
campaign director, a la George Stephanopolos of ABC, to lead the news division,
let me know. Instead, we get mostly guys from the Left with direct ties to former
and current Democratic Party office holders, i.e., Matthews, Russert, etc.

Congress, your approval rating is below that of George W. Bush.

Get to work on creating better tax rates by making the cuts permanent, go after fraud at the
UN, go after fraud in Katrina rebuilding, go after the wasteful spending in the Congress,
child molesters, illegal aliens, terrorists, etc., and do your job.
