He'll probably blame gays for his condition as usual.

Re: The Rev. Jerry Falwell has died at age 73, The Associated Press reports.

LYNCHBURG, Virginia (AP) -- The Rev. Jerry Falwell has died, a Liberty University executive said Tuesday. He was 73.

Earlier, the executive said Falwell was hospitalized in "gravely serious" condition after being found unconscious in his office.

Ron Godwin, the executive vice president of Falwell's Liberty University, said Falwell was found unresponsive around 10:45 a.m. and taken to Lynchburg General Hospital. Godwin said he was not sure what caused the collapse, but "he has a history of heart challenges."

"I had breakfast with him, and he was fine at breakfast," Godwin said. "He went to his office, I went to mine and they found him unresponsive."

Falwell, a television evangelist who founded the Moral Majority, became the face of the religious right in the 1980s. He later founded the conservative Liberty University and serves as its president.

Falwell survived two serious health scares in early 2005. He was hospitalized for two weeks with what was described as a viral infection, then hospitalized again a few weeks later after going into respiratory arrest.

Reason is poor propaganda when opposed by the yammering, unceasing lies of shrewd and evil and self-serving men.

It must be a big shock to him to find out there is no god, and if there is s/he isn't as anal as Jerry.

Heart challenges?!
What in the world does that mean.
Sounds like he was fighting his heart and he lost!

Before you speak to me about your religion, first show it to me in how you treat other people; before you tell me how much you love your God, show me in how much you love all His children; before you preach to me of your passion for your faith, teach me about it through your compassion for your neighbors. In the end, I'm not as interested in what you have to tell or sell as in how you choose to live and give.

Re: The Rev. Jerry Falwell has died at age 73, The Associated Press reports.

Nice.

Again, the tolerant and diverse and loving left on display.

The man died. He has a family. He left behind a big legacy,
a huge church, international charity, large successful university,
etc.

He wasn't my personal cup of tea. His heyday was
20 years ago. He made friends with the likes of
Ted Kennedy and others of the left over the years,
holding various left-right,Christian v. non-Christian,
etc. conferences and retreats.

The guy never his his feelings.

Nor did he hide from the ramifications.

He stated his case, reasons for his beliefs,
and stood his ground. Disagree or agree with
him, you knew where you stood. Unlike many
others who are afraid to say what they feel or
why, he was not.

Yeah, kind of like Hitler?

Jerry Falwell was ignorance incarnate. Don't criticize us for not being "tolerant and diverse and loving." We promote tolerance, diversity, and love, and people like Jerry Falwell ridicule them. How are we supposed to feel when he dies?
