Agreed.
It was just SO LAME.
I mean they tried to make it funny but it just was so stupid.

Re: Spiderman 3

Not total disaster, but easily weakest of the series (which was never that great anyway). I hate how Venom character was rushed & made wimpy. I hate movie Mary Jane, who is weak and does nothing except moons over Peter, who by all accounts is a loser. I hate how the women of the series have no other role than fall from high buildings to be rescued by Spidey. And finally I hate those overly contrived touchy-feely scenes.

My thoughts exactly, the second Spiderman was watchable but even then it wasn't great. The only reason I saw the third one at the cinemas is because I got free tickets and thought I might as well check it out.

Re: Spiderman 3

I didn't like the first one. Hated the second. And hated this one even more. I only went because my best friend wanted to go. It was too long and too boring.

Wow!! You pegged every single reason I hated it too. Except you left one out---
Why the HELLLL did they cast that no-talent Tobey Maguire as the lead?!?!?!?! He's embarrassing just to watch.
Spiderman is supposed to be action, humor, vicious villains, and a great ending. This garbage was just tepid romance, weak acting, and bad bad BAD casting.

Re: Spiderman 3

To me, the movie was just an outlet for the two biggest dorks of this decade, Topher Grace and Tobey Maguire, to be something they're not, heroes/villians.
They failed miserably at making me believe they could ever be cool.
The emotional parts were overdone to the point where I couldn't stop laughing.

It was like The Lord of The Rings but somehow someway even gayer with Kristen Dunst.
The fact that the movie had the nerve to have a moral at the end made me want to vomit.

I knew I should have gone and watch Georgia Rule.
At least I would have enjoyed Lindsay Lohan and the ending wouldn't have sucked.

Re: Spiderman 3

The camp emo hair was just not working for me. I mean, I chuckled at it, but it wasn't as funny as they were trying for. Awful movie. Glad I never bothered to see the second one.

Re: Spiderman 3

It had so many sub-plots that most of them turned out half-baked. It was the worst of the series.

Also, watching Kirsten Dunst was a pain. She does nothing but whine and whine and whine...

Re: Spiderman 3

As far as critical reception goes the 2nd one had great views, followed closely by the 1st one.

But this one had bad reviews but they weren't horrible.

Re: Spiderman 3

It was alright, storyline was sooo lame at times, especially dark Spidey, but action made up for it.

Re: Spiderman 3

Oh, it wasn't that bad.

Some of it was mad funny, like the whole pimping thing - and the grenade

I do agree that there was too much in the one movie though.
