Serbian song and Shiri Maimon

What the connection, you must be asking.

Well, Israeli press found out that the chorus of the Serbian winning song is very similar to a single from the Israeli singer Shiri Maimom (who represented Israel in the Eurovision 2005 of course)

Shiri has been performing at Eastern Europe in the last few years also so this is quite suspicious.

Song: http://youtube.com/watch?v=TOKTGQ0vZGg
Chorus from 1:06, you decide.

Israeli song writer said he is flattered and will consult Helicon record company whether to perform legal actions.

Queen of Asia.

Re: Serbian song and Shiri Maimon

I really like Shiri Maymon. Marija's song was good too but they seem very different to me.

Re: Serbian song and Shiri Maimon

I gotta admit, the chorus sounds similar, but the rest of the song is different so I don't mind really.
