Paris, Je T'Aime

7.5/10

Some stories are really good. Some are quite bad and ridiculous. Still, entertaining.

Todo Sobre Mi Madre (All About My Mother) by Pedro Almodovar

Great story with well created characters.

Penelope Cruz mostly plays great roles in spanish movies, while her Hollywood roles seem to be mostly cheesy and uninteresting.

Italian film Casomai and canadian film Les invasion barbares.
Both were nice but the second one was pretty impressive... great circle of friends gather to say goodbye to one of their members whose final day gets earlier and earlier.

Re: Last foreign language movie you saw, and your rating of it!

I recently saw "Das Leben der Anderen" and I give it 5/5. One of the best movies I have seen in the last years.

2000-2007: My "Kim years". My best years as a tennis fan. A few bitter losses but a lot of great matches and great wins. Thank you, Kim Clijsters!

L'auberge espagnole (for the third time).

I know I've been a liar
And I know I've been a fool
I hope we didn't break it
But I'm glad we broke the rules
My cave is deep now
Yet your light is shining through
I cover my eyes
Still all I see is you

Pan's labyrinth...After reading reviews i thought its gonna be smashing...but after overdramatizing girls story...it looked like a scary, distracting "fairytale"...some parts were great....some were way amateur (like the one with the frog)

2.5/5

Re: Last foreign language movie you saw, and your rating of it!

I watched "Volver" last week and loved it, so this weekend I watched 4 more films by Almodovar.... Women On the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, Tie Me Up Tie Me Down, All About My Mother (saw this years ago), Bad Education. All were very good.
