Sen. Nelson (D) in Syria, Kerry to Follow

Before anyone thinks this is a great thing - a Democratic Senator
conducting his own foreign diplomacy - the same Senator did this
before the Iraq War began.

He talked to the Syrian leader, the son of a son of a........,
and was promised that Syria would do all it could to secure
the Iraq-Syria border, and stay out of Iraq, and make sure
wacky terrorists would not go to Iraq from Syria. A wall or
structure of some kind was supposed to have been built.

Nelson was proud of this promise he got then.
See, they want to work with us! They want peace!
They don't want bad things to happen to the USA or
to Israel! See!

Of course, we know that didn't exactly pan out.

Syria laughed at him then, they do now too as well.
Syria with Iran is helping the insurgents kill Muslim citizens,
blow up babies, and wipe out police men in line for work.
Daily. Their aim is to take over Iraq, not stay out of it.

Nelson thinks Assad will promise to help with Iraq, stay
out of the insurgent problem, and be helpful! Oh boy!

John Kerry is to follow him soon, on another of his
foreign policy missions, including meeting with the troops.

Please do meet with the troops who made the infamous
sign for you John after your 'botched' joke....which
wasn't a botched joke, just another slam at enlisted
soldiers to go w/the others going back decades w/you.

John - pssst...didn't anyone tell you? You have zero,
zilch, no shot, colder than ice, potential for a run for
the presidency in 2008. Ain't gonna happen. You're
done.

This is the Democratic Party foreign policy plan - have tea
with Assad and Iran and Hamas. Great.

Those of them who are still alive, of course.
