I'm back from Aus via A&E and technological black hole...

Hello!

<sweeping through for a grand entrance>

Does anyone remember me!?

I'm came back from Australia where I had the time of my life. I went to the set of Neighbours. Nuff said. Tanned and fighting fit I was! Then two days later from returning home, I end up in hospital with a badly infected wisdom tooth extraction, which makes me ill for weeks and weeks.

And I lost my tan within a week of being back on British land....

I came out of hospital, and moved house. Fun! Only we don't have internet! NOT fun! Can't get any mobile signal! Great! No TV aerial! I have moved into a technological black hole.

Then my dad went into hospital. Eek.

But now he is fine, after 38w475w6348756 calls to BT call centres in India, we now have internet and I am finally fully recovered. Incidentally, I nearly needed hospital treatment again from lack of surfing. Of the web variety!

This is the eville tooth itself which caused me weeks of melodramtic hospitalisation!

Lovely eh!?

And this is where I was living in Aus (the Gold Coast), just to ease you if you have been grossed out by the tooth

So.

What have I missed?

It's great to be back Hope all you cool music loving people are still here......

Good grief! It's you!!

Oh before I start with the welcoming celebrations I just have to say right here, right now that that wisdom of yours is absolutely horrifying! I'm so glad I've not had any problems with mine so far *touch wood*

Anyhoo...onwards...

Glad you enjoyed your mammoth time in Aus, did you lose any of your Welsh accent and develop a lovely Aussie twang at all? You'll have to give loads of details over the coming days/weeks/months now that you've managed to crawl out of that technological black hole you found yourself in

You've not missed much to be honest...on a personal front I've graduated Uni and now just wasting time before I go back and do a masters next year also I've developed an almost worrying obsession with almost anything Italian

Anyhoo, Sian...glad to have you back around the boards It's been an absolute age since we last saw you!

Gemma! HELLO!!!

Congratulations on graduating! YouRockz! Aw I'm so pleased for you. And good luck for your masters!

My accent fluctuated...and I say 'no worries' constantly. Mate. Lol. But I'm back to Caaaaardiff accents now!

I didn't want to come back from Aus admittedly, and lying in a hospital bed just confirmed my original feelings lol

I miss the kangaroos. Seriously!

Highlights of Aus - going to the set of Neighbours, meeting Toadie seeing Harold Bishop; going to Steve Irwin's zoo (before he died) it's an awesome place!; lying on the beach most days

Nah I'm enjoying being back home now, especially seeing as I've moved out of the parents' home! And of course non-wisdom-toothed...I have to have the other out in a month or two lol. Yeah it was a horrible experience to be honest, but these things happen. I think it was karma for being jammy and having such a great time in Aus.

Re: I'm back from Aus via A&E and technological black hole...

Ooooooh sounds like you had a great time! Especially with all the fab Neighbours related business, genius!

Though I would have advised you to have had your medical emergency in Aus not that you could really avoid it admittedly, I had mine there (although not tooth related, it was more allergy related ) but their hospitals/doctors etc are like a million times better than ours, or at least in my experience they are...plus since you're in with the Neighbours crew now, surely you could have had Dr.Karl look after you!

You've got me all nostalgic for my Aus trip now *goes off to look at pics of kangaroos*...
