She won't, why bother asking it ?

This can't last. This misery can't last. I must remember that and try to control myself. Nothing lasts really. Neither happiness nor despair. Not even life lasts very long. There'll come a time in the future when I shan't mind about this anymore, when I can look back and say quite peacefully and cheerfully how silly I was. No, no, I don't want that time to come ever. I want to remember every minute, always, always to the end of my days.

PS just destroyed her slight chance to defeat Sarkozy... I really wish Sarko wouldn't be president, but I doubt more and more that Segolene can beat him... Which is sad coz she probably wouldn't be the greatest president of all time, she'd still do elss damages than Sarkozy...

If Sego allows the left wing of her party to dominate politics then it will be for the worse. But if she allows social democrats like DSK into the limelight then things could get better. Anyway I hope that Bibi is right and that Sarko wins the elections. I am using Bibi as my luckycharm. Allez Sarko!

absolutely
And what annoys me is that her whole campaign has been made around the fact that she's a woman and that would be a great change for France, would show we're modern (in the way of thinking, which I don't think we are )... Wrong reasons to vote for someone.

That does not matter. I will still use you as my lucky charm. If a leftist like you thinks that Sarko will beat Sego then things are looking bright.

But somehow i don't think France is ready to elect a woman as its president.

Re: How will France change if Seglène Royal becomes Presdient of France?

the first option is priceless
Men will be forced to wear aprons and do more housework --> Ask the Germans if Miss Angela Merkel (still Miss? ) forces them to do so
