Bush Promotes Iran to 'Axis of Eviler'

Axis of Eviler

Seeking a tough response to new provocations, the U.S. President calls Iranian President Ahmadinejad an ‘Evilerdoer.’

Updated: 12:45 a.m. ET Aug 22, 2006

Aug. 22, 2006 - Furious at Iran's decision to test-fire surface-to-surface missiles and push forward with its nuclear program, President George W. Bush today named the country to a newly formed Axis of Eviler.

The president said that he had invented the new Axis specifically for Iran because “the word ‘evil’ does not describe just how evil these folks really are.”

Bush singled out Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad for special condemnation, calling the provocative head of state an “evilerdoer.”

The president said that at first he was not sure whether “eviler” or “evilerdoer” were actually words, “but then I checked with [Secretary of Defense] Don Rumsfeld who assured me that they were.”

While the promotion of Iran from Axis of Evil to Axis of Eviler drew no initial response from President Ahmadinejad, it sparked an angry reaction from North Korean President Kim Jong-Il, who said today, “North Korea will not sit idly by and allow another nation to be called eviler than it.”

President Kim said that his country would double the number of missile tests it conducts and ramp up its uranium enrichment program in the hopes of being named to what he called the “Axis of Evilest.”

In Washington, reporters asked Bush if he had unintentionally ignited a competition between Iran and North Korea to see which nation could do eviler things.

Bush responded, “Mission accomplished.”

I am beginning to believe that Bush has lost all rational perspective in this conflict. He seems to only understand the use of force.

Having confessed his disdain for nuance, Americans should expect more of the same for the rest of his tenure

The last two national elections were stolen. What makes you think this one will be clean? Get ready for 'more of same'.

As much as I dislike Bush, the Iranian president should drop dead.

Maybe everyone should read the article again. Or better yet, follow the link.

As soon as peeps hear "weapons programme" and the "US"...peeps throw up the blinkers.

You make a valid point and the supporters of this "Bush scare tactic" fold.

Fear is a beguiling emotion. It can motivate us to do things we feel uncomfortable about or it can send us into a state of entropy, paralysing our emotions and actions. Fear can also be seductive and can draw us into dangerous situations or cause us to participate in activities that put others at risk.
We have chosen, however, to illustrate the ending with the one thing that keeps us, as humans, strong enough to fight off the forces of fear. Hope.

“There is nothing to fear but fear itself.”

Good luck to all the girls who will be participating in the Finals to be held on Thursday 31 August.

Yawn.

Iran is good.
Bush is bad.
Iran is killing student protesters.
Bush is bad.
Iran is building up an alliance with North Korea,
Syria, and Hamas and Hezbollah, and Venezuelas
Chaves.
Bush is dumb.
Irans leader has publicly stated on multiple occassions,
the Holocaust is exaggerated if it ever happened, Israel
is wrong and evil, Israel should be removed from the Middle
East by any means possible ( I assume the human beings
there too), genocide is okay, and Sharia law will and should
be all over Europe, Middle East and eventually the USA.

Iran is playing the stall, delay, cooperate, don't cooperate,
stall, delay game with the UN in order to keep building up the
nuclear plans it has and wants, and the UN goes along w/it.

Bush is bad.
Bush is silly.
Bush is wrong.

OK, I get it now.

Iran wants to be out pal. Really, Albright said so. UN says so.
Clinton thought so. It's all a figment I guess.

Just easier to presume Bush is the dummy, the wrong one, and
the man who doesn't see Iran for what it is, and aims to be.
Good logic.

Alrighty.

Think Bush would have followed the link? Or asked a minion to check it out for him?

Or ask for a report on the link but just refuse to acknowledge any findings that don't support his pre-determined course of action? (like plagarizing right-wing blogs)

Reason is poor propaganda when opposed by the yammering, unceasing lies of shrewd and evil and self-serving men.
