most mis-spelled country

what is the most mis-spelled country here? Do you think that people sometimes intentionally mis-spell that country?

It's not a country anymore. I'm sure it is Israel. I've seen posters mispell it again and again. I think they sometimes do it intentionally, they are so angry at Israel and Jews that they think it is funny to mis-spell our country's name. how come nobody mispells China or Spain? Of course, i think you can spell Irak, Irak or Iraq. But once you learn to spell a country, how can you forget, especially if the word is only 6 letters?

Fine. My excuse, and of course i could have done a google search first, is that i never go to Lux ... and I rarely read about it. So it is an honest mistake. I'm being top-secret here and thinknig that yes, people intentionally mis-spell stuff. I've seen posters who are way to educated, too smart and witty to do it so often BY ACCIDENT.

Isnt IraK the anglophone spelling? As an expat in a country whose language is not my native one, my spelling is all messed up. It is not intentional. Check my other posts, I have real trouble spelling English now. Irak is a correct spelling, I am sure of it. Check people who frequently write about Israel. If they are as knowledgeable about the region as they claim, can they not learn to spell the country correctly?

I'd love to be Dutch, or better said, I'd love to go Dutch - then i wouldnt have to always pay for everything. seriously, i would love to be dutch, they would be cool. I would act dutch too, and think dutch and even liberalise myself and all. it would be cool, like my younger days. Who wants "Sluggy" to have a European passport? I could be French in a year.

lol at most of the options

Here are the most difficult for me (because I know the German names much better) :

Kazakhstan (German: Kasachstan) (French: Kazakhstan)
Kyrgyzstan (German : Kirgisistan) (French: Kirghizistan)
Tajikistan (German: Tadschikistan) (French: Tadjikistan)
Uzbekistan (German: Usbekistan) (French: Ouzbékistan)

Angelique Kerber :: Australian Open 2016 champion
