Hey there!

I need AAB. No insurance choice. I won't get in.

What course did you apply for?

Women's tennis sucks.

It just worked for me and nothing has changed. I still have conditional, other people on another board have had theirs changed.

Anyone else's changed?

Good luck.

Last year the decisions from unis didn't get put up til about 8.30am/9am (I stayed up the whole night). I was lucky I got through because most people that checked that morning found the server was overloaded.

I'm sure you'll enjoy the course but... you're getting into thousands of 's of debt for that? What will you do with it? Was there not an International Studies course anywhere, which also includes a year in America? I mean, you can get more out of an Internation Studies/Relations degree. Vast knowledge of America is not the way forward... It's South America, China, the Middle East etc, etc that if you want to work for an international agency or business... knowledge of those places and their politics is looked favourably upon.

But good luck with it. I know a few people who had done American Studies courses and they enjoyed it immensely... only now they are working 50 hours a week in 20 000 a year jobs.

Well a lot of graduate jobs are non-degree specific. Furthermore, if they wanted to do research in that field then obviously they would have to do that specific degree. Even if this person decides that they've made a mistake they can still do a one year conversion course and do pretty much anything. So it really isn't the end of the world. Plus, Warwick is a pretty prestigious university so theoretically should be good on their CV.

Of course it's not the end of the world. A degree is a degree and not easy to get. I really wasn't trying to belittle it but... I'm just one of those people that doesn't get the whole fascination with American culture.

I agree can't say I would ever want to study America. Each to their own I suppose
