EXOTIC FOODS or 'Fear Factor' Plates ?

Do people really eat some of these dishes?

I've seen these babies underwater I think on Jacque Cousteau.


Had it and hated it! Literally tasted like shit! Snails have no business being served on a dinner plate. YUCK!


These look like crawdads or prawns...


I have NO idea what this is, and I don't think I wanna know.
Looks like some sort of foreign jerky meat, though.



I had no idea that people actually ate bats.

The prawn things are yabbies... at a school excursion we caught and ate them..well not me, I didnt have the guts to try them, the others liked them.

I have had the prawns, they taste the same as shrimp. I tried fried grasshopper once in Mexico.
