I'm bearing up pretty well so far and refuse to complain .

Thank god I've got AC in my new car though. My cat has used the weather as an excuse to sleep ALL DAY in the best shady bits in the garden and I kind of envy him as I am writing this from a non air conditioned and pretty stuffy office (in Cardiff, where it is currently around 31 degrees).

We get over 40 degrees fairly often in Australia. News Years Day this year in Sydney was probably the hottest i've experienced recently (over 40 degrees, don't have an exact number)

Mid 30's is nothing

I much prefer it cold and wet to be honest. Its so bloody hot, and England just ins't suited for it.

Of course there is no such thing as climate change.

In an air conditioned cars and offices, no it isn't.

When I was out in Perth a few years ago, everywhere was air conditioned and I was there in a baking January, but really it was fine because you knew you wouldn't be out in it for long.

The difference in the UK is that because such hot weather as this is the exception rather than the rule, many places remain air conditioning free and we all melt, slowly and surely, as the day goes on.

Things are changing for the better in that most new cars now, even cheap ones, haved AC, so that's good and I suppose a lot of modern offices do as well, but I work in an old building where there is no such luxury and I'm sure a lot of others are in the same sweaty boat as me this afternoon.

Still, like I said before, I'm really trying not to complain because our summer is too short as it is , but I have a horrible feeling that this post is gonna come across as a big whinge

I love the heat so am loving it atm, although NOT in my car,it has no A/C and my job revolves round driving alot, and where i live is all traffic so sitting in the car allday isnt too good atm, although saying that whenever im not at work im a happy bunny making the most of the sunshine, which is kinda handy as later in the year i will be moving to a hot country

I hate the hot weather, it's just so horrid.

I prefer my wet and gloomy days, with a slight wind

Hot Summers and stupid snow pisses me off!!!!

The highest I remember is 40-something Celcius, with the Humidex.
The lowest I can remember is around -40 Celsius, with the wind factor. We have a pretty large array of temperatures.
