Kylie & Cat
Finally, don't miss tomorrow night's TV exclusive as Kylie chats with Cat Deeley about her cancer scare, and the hard times she and her family suffered as she underwent treatment in both Australia and France. In the interview Kylie describes the moment she found out she had cancer as like "like a bomb has dropped" (by NeilMc):
Kylie Minogue talks exclusively to Cat Deely regarding her experiences since being diagnosed with breast cancer last year and some of her plans for the future in what is likely to be the most anticipated tv interview of her career to date.
The show airs in the UK on Sky One at 9.00pm tomorrow night, Sunday 16th July 2006. Australian fans will be able to see the show on Channel 9 at 8.30pm on Monday 17th July 2006.
"I love to say: you can get through it," Kylie tells Cat in the interview. "I don't want to go into the doom and gloom of it. It's hard. It's a very steep learning curve," she says.
"I had one day's grace where I knew and went for a walk down to the beach with my brother and my boyfriend," she tells her. "The next day we made an announcement, and then I was virtually a prisoner in the house which, not that I intended to go anywhere, but from then on I was just completely thrown into another world."
The interview has already attracted plenty of attention across the UK media in general, including appearing on the cover of yesterday's Daily Mirror newspaper, and has had mentions on various TV news and radio shows.
