Cool Anyone going to Da Vinci Code premiere tomorrow night in London?

I need a date. I'm going. I'm a V.I.P.

Too bad the whole cast is currently in Cannes for the festival

Was it just me, or as you were reading it, all I kept thinking was that this dopey Robert Langdon needs to get laid and maybe he'd be halfway interesting and not such a stupid, boring stiff. I had hopes for a Langdon/Neveau hook-up at the end, but alas, it was not to be. If I was the director, they're be a hot hand-job, heavy petting scene like early on when they're like in the armored truck, and a full fledge, full frontal nudity sex scene at the end. Helen knows how to liven up a dull plot!

This one would be a challenge for you Helen .

I might go to the premier - I assume it's in Leicester square - but only if Dan Brown's going so I can give him a clip round the ear and get my six quid back.

Personally, I've never run across in fiction or on screen, two duller characters than Robert Langdon and Sofie Neveau. I didn't think the story was dull, but the characters, just awful cardboard cut-outs with no depth--you're aware every second they are not real. A couple of hot sex scenes, some flesh, and we have better characters!

^ It needs to be done well though, otherwise we'd just have Body of Evidence - although I suppose the only hot stuff in that was the candle wax.

OMG, I remember that movie. Just awful!! A few full-frontal scenes in an otherwise decently-plotted movie can help, though.

Yes, I recall the wax on the car hood. Willem, you've done better, hon! Platoon it wasn't!
