It's a Spice Girl for Geri! *Ultracute pics added*

http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2006220274,00.html

GERI Halliwell gave birth to a baby girl last night — after refusing to allow the tot’s dad to be present.

Ex-Spice Girl Geri, 33, checked into a suite at London’s Portland Hospital early yesterday to prepare for a Caesarean section. Her mum Anna Maria was with her at the birth — which was not due until later this month. The baby was delivered at 9pm by top obstetrician Malcolm Gillard, who delivered David and Victoria Beckham’s first son Brooklyn. Mr Gillard was also flown to Spain to oversee the birth of Posh’s third son Cruz and was recommended to Geri.
A hospital source said last night: “The birth went well. Mother and daughter are doing fine.”

The baby’s dad Sacha Gervasi, a 40-year-old Hollywood screenwriter, had been frozen out. Geri was introduced to British public school-educated Gervasi 18 months ago by pop pal Robbie Williams. She got pregnant during a six-week fling last year. But the couple split after a finger-jabbing row which left Geri in tears. Bearded Gervasi — who has battled drink and drugs demons — is angry at being shut out of his baby’s life. He is reported to have engaged the same high powered lawyers used by movie mogul Steve Bing in his paternity battle with Liz Hurley.

If Geri had the child in California, she and Gervasi would have shared equal parental rights. But she has spent more time in the UK during her pregnancy and decided to have her baby in London.

Geri has never publicly acknowledged that Gervasi is the dad. He said in a statement: “I fully intend to give Geri and the baby all the love and support they need.”

But I, being poor, have only my dreams
I have spread my dreams under your feet
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams

WTF?! Ginger Spice has named her poooooor baby girl, Bluebell Madonna Halliwell

She said: "Scarlett was another name I loved, as Scarlett O'Hara was my fictional heroine. But as I walked round the park in the last few weeks of pregnancy, I seemed to see bluebells everywhere.

"But what really clinched it for me was my mother telling me that the bluebell is increasingly rare - it's a precious flower, which seems just right for my daughter. There's a good reason I picked Madonna as a middle name, too. As she came out of my tummy, Bluebell had both arms flung wide in the air as if announcing to the world, 'Hi! I'm here!'

"She was screaming her head off, as though she was shouting, 'Hello Wembley!' No one else has that name, apart from the Virgin Madonna and the singer, whom I love."

Maybe Bluebell will star in a gardening show in the future with her possible celebrity friend Apple Martin...

I prefer Bluebell to Apple; but maybe her child will demand to be called Madonna instead (at least she has that middle name to fall back on )

Geri is looking good too

Bluebell Madonna Halliwell.

It's worse than Phoenix Chi, Brooklyn Joseph, Romeo and Cruz combined.

what a name! At first I thought it was a joke.
Poor kid. Imagine life in the school playground with a name like that.
