this was one of the worst movies with such a big budget.

the word that aptly describes this movie is....prefunctory

Remake movies usually crap I won't watch it, anyway.

I will wait for DVD. The original, even though the dialogue was cheesy as hell, still stands up to me in 2006. It was a ahead of its time for special effects and all the remake really I guess does is add more spectacular scenes to it.
