I'm trying to as is everybody else at my job. I'm eavesdropping and I can hear people planning to go to an early Happy Hour.

I had the day off on Good Friday, with the Easter Monday a nice four days to relax.

I'm leaving the office at noon! Gotta make a quick trip to the supermarket, go home and chill for a bit and then we're off to church. (Why is Good Friday service so long? )

Happy Easter yawl!

We were all supposed to leave work early yesterday (even the bosses were sneaking out quietly) but I have ESPN in my office so I ended up staying late watching a NFL Draft Preview.

The last guy out actually came and checked on me because the motion detectors (sp) cut all the lights out except in my office.

Can you tell us what this dream job is?

Anyway, I had a holiday today! Slept until 1:00 Don't have to work, but I'm hourly and can work from home, and have a lot to do, so I will probably work a bit.

Enjoy your early leavings and happy hours.

Nah, staying til 5. I'm surprised I don't get off early since I work for the gov., but we don't get off Monday either. Hopefully I can play some tennis after work because here in KS it's been about 90F, which is INSANE for april.

I'm working on it

Monday is a state holiday here, too - Patriot's Day, though, it's not an Easter thing so much as a "skip and watch the Marathon" thing (gotta love Massachusetts)

Reason is poor propaganda when opposed by the yammering, unceasing lies of shrewd and evil and self-serving men.
