Favorite area of Manhattan

Could it be Inwood? Morningside Park? Soho? Nolita? Murray Hill? Turtle Bay? Or Kips Bay?

Name it on the poll!

Upper East Side.
I'll add in Washington Heights because Dominican boys are hot.
There's nothing like getting on the A train and watching the boys.
I just would like to add that J. Lo lied.
There ain't shit On The 6 except Luchos and that's way way up the 6.

I don't know. Upper East/Westsides sound nice.

Women's tennis sucks.

Greenwich Village for me!

The Waverly Theatre, Washington Square, Balducci's (alas! it's now gone), Bleecker Street, people watching, handball/paddleball and organized basketball at West Fourth Street, Jefferson Market Library, book shops, wine shops, some groovy galleries and restaurants, jazz/blues clubs!

Aaahhhh!

Up to about 1940 it was still called GREENwich Village. When the Tories took over the City from the Dutch (whom we call Knickerbockers) they re-named streets and sections for British towns or people. The Dutch who remained there pronounced those names exactly as they are spelled so that "GRENich" Village was pronounced 'GREEN'wich. "Temms" (spelled Thames) was pronounced "Thaymes" -- it's still pronounced that way.

If it were up to me, I'd still call it 'GREEN'wich Village.
