After the great Stripped of 2003, I am highly looking forward to the follow-up. It even has some jazz elements in it! Now that's what I call great music.

Christina Aguilera claims making her latest album was the same as being pregnant twice, and left her feeling like she'd been pregnant for over a year, according to a story in Life Style Extra (UK).
The sexy singer recently finished her newest collection 'Back To Basics', a much touted follow-up to 2002's hugely successful 'Stripped'. She insists recording the music felt like she was nurturing a new life into the world.
Aguilera said: "I feel like I've been pregnant for 18 months - it's been tough!"
Aguilera also reveals the album is heavily influence by early jazz as well as her childhood favourite pop and soul songs.

She says: "We dived headfirst into a 20s and 30s vibe. We have a song that sounds like you've just walked into a 20s burlesque club. There's a lot of stuff that people haven't heard from me before. On one song, I'm just above the mike. There's no reverb and no effects. No gimmicks at all - nothing."
Despite the change of direction, however, Aguilera insists people will still be able to get down and dirty to her new tracks, and that she has no intention of pulling back on her raunch stage moves.
She told America's Rolling Stone magazine: "The album has a throwback style using horn samples so it sounds gritty and old. But we've been able to splice it into something that people can still dance to in the clubs."
